This Privacy Policy describes the information collection procedures and use of such information by CNA National Warranty Corporation (“CNA National”). Protection of your information is a matter of great importance to CNA National and its affiliates. We appreciate the trust that you have in us, and we protect that trust by continuing to respect the privacy of all Website users and contract holders.

Certain Information is Collected Automatically, when you Visit the Website to Read or Browse through the Website Material.
“Cookies” are text files placed in your computer’s browser to store certain preferences and information, which may enhance your browsing experience on the Website. CNA National does not use Cookies to track or collect personal identification information from website users. CNA National utilizes “Google Analytics” a service provided by Google to collect and store basic data for website traffic, including but not limited to, browser type and device used, location and user agent string. Your Information is Collected When You Complete an Online Form.
You may choose to fill out certain forms or online data requests, which provide your name, phone number, e-mail address and related information. CNA National uses this information to respond to your questions and requests, and in some cases to pass the information through to third parties for appropriate action.

All the consumer input and customer data collected by CNA National is stored in a secure content management system on CNA National-owned servers to protect against unauthorized use and access. The information is only accessible by those with the administrative rights to the content management system. CNA National does not sell or license personal information to third parties.

Your information is collected when you purchase a contract from CNA National.
CNA National collects information that is necessary to review, process or service requests for products, benefits or other services. For example, CNA National collects vehicle information to determine eligibility for coverage and benefits under the service contract. CNA National respects your privacy and values the protection of your nonpublic, personal information.

The personal information that is collected by CNA National is obtained on the registration page of the contract, and any associated claim and cancellation notices, if any. Generally, CNA National requests information such as your name, address, phone number and email address. Additional information about your vehicle including the Selling Dealer and lienholder is also collected in connection with your purchase of the service contract.

How Does CNA National Disclose Information:
CNA National shares your personal information only to third parties such as regulatory authorities, the Selling Dealership, claim services personnel and other third parties engaged by CNA National or you to provide roadside assistance, vehicle inspections and repairs, and service contract financing. As part of internal processes CNA National may share your personal information with Independent Sales Representatives. This information is sometimes shared to render additional services to you, including: to respond to a court order or subpoena; prevent fraud; security and compliance; collections; and to analyze data about our products and programs.

How Does CNA National Protect your Information:
CNA National restricts access to information to those employees who need to know in order to provide the services set forth in the service contract. CNA National regularly reviews its security measures and employee education programs to help protect information. CNA National also has physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in place to protect the information it receives. When CNA National shares information with third parties, CNA National requires that they have standards to keep this information private. This privacy policy continues to apply even when your relationship with CNA National has terminated.

Special note to Parents:
All CNA National websites are restricted to persons 13 years or older. CNA National has no intention to collect any personal information, voluntary or involuntary, from children or any person below the age of 13.

Definitions
CNA National Warranty Corporation (“CNA National”) - CNA National Warranty Corporation is the administrator of the service contract; CNA National Warranty Corporation – Florida, Continental Service Plan, Inc., or Continental Service Provider, Inc. is the applicable obligor for the service contract.

Selling Dealer - Means the dealership, including its assigns and successors, that issued or sold you the service contract which this Privacy Notice is subject to.

Affiliate- Means a company related by a common ownership or control.

Independent Sales Representative - Means unaffiliated representatives of the CNAN Companies who work with and hold relationships with the Selling Dealer and CNAN collectively.

Nonaffiliates - Means companies not related by a common ownership or control.
